Four Manchester City players including Kevin de Bruyne and Erling Haaland are in list of highest paid players in the Premier League, check the top ten
The list of the highest-paid players in the Premier League is out. Manchester City, who secured a historic treble last season, dominates the list as their players claim four spots. City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne tops the chart. The weekly wage of the Belgian star is said to be around £400,000. De Bruyne has already established his stature as one of the best playmakers in Premier League history.
The list has been collated by Spotrac, a website and tool that keeps track of player contracts.
Since joining Manchester City from Wolfsburg in 2015, De Bruyne has played 358 games for the English side, scoring 96 goals and providing 153 assists across all competitions.
De Bruyne’s teammate Erling Haaland follows him on the list of top-earning Premier League footballers. Haaland shifted his base to Manchester last summer after parting ways with Borussia Dortmund. The Norweigan striker wrapped up his debut season for City with a total of 52 goals in all competitions. He also broke Sergio Aguero’s record for netting the most Premier League goals in a single season. Haaland’s current salary is estimated to be £375,000 per week.

Liverpool’s star forward Mohamed Salah is the joint third-highest-paid footballer in this Premier League season, alongside Manchester United’s Casemiro. The duo get paid around £350,000 per week by their respective clubs.
Salah arrived at Anfield in 2017 and didn’t take much time to become a regular starter for the Reds. He also played a key role in Liverpool’s famous Champions League triumph in 2019. In the following season, Salah also inspired them to become the Premier League champions. Salah attracted a mouth-watering offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad this summer. The Egyptian decided to stay in England at least for one more season.
Meanwhile, Casemiro joined Manchester United last summer after folding up his decorated seven-year spell with Real Madrid. The Brazilian’s United teammate, Rafael Varane, rounds off the top-five list. The French defender is said to be earning £340,000 per week since coming to Old Trafford in August 2021.
