Petrol, and Diesel Prices on October 20: There is a slight increase in the prices of crude oil in the international market. Around 6 am on Friday, WTI crude was being sold at $90.36 per barrel. At the same time, Brent crude has increased to $ 93.27 per barrel. Oil marketing companies in the country have released the latest rates of petrol and diesel. In India, fuel prices are revised every morning at 6 am. Before June 2017, price revision was done every 15 days.
In Chhattisgarh, there is a reduction of 50 paise in the price of petrol and 49 paise in diesel. There is a reduction of 27 paise in the price of petrol and diesel in Uttar Pradesh. Reduction in the prices of petrol and diesel is also visible in Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Goa. On the other hand, an increase of Rs 1.04 is seen in the price of petrol and diesel in Jammu and Kashmir. Petrol and diesel have become costlier by 25 paise in Punjab also.
At present, petrol in Delhi is being sold at Rs 96.72 a litre while diesel is being sold at Rs 89.62 a litre. Whereas in Mumbai, petrol is available at Rs 106.31 and diesel at Rs 94.27 per litre. While petrol in Kolkata is Rs 106.03 and diesel is Rs 92.76 per litre. On the other hand, petrol is being sold at Rs 102.63 and diesel at Rs 94.24 per litre in Chennai.
